mumuth
On the first of March 2009 the MUMUTH was officially opened in Graz. It is the main centre for rehearsal and performance of the University for Arts in Graz. In its acoustic possibilities the MUMUTH is unique in Austria. The House for Music and Musical Theatre was designed by the renowned UNStudio, the studio of Dutch architect Ben van Berkel. The MUMUTH is a place for „student“ creations and musical research, to take us to our personal limits and make us stronger.
Logo
Young, fresh, incomplete, unpolished, in motion – this is how studenthood is defined for the MUMUTH. So the logo was built to resemble a not yet perfect circle.
Typography
Colours
No secondary colours were defined. Instead there are different colour gradients which vary in every application. The transitions are not smooth, but on a rough grid.
